Wayne County, Kentucky. A child in southern Kentucky was attacked by a neighbor’s pit bull dog and sustained serious injuries that required him to ultimately be airlifted to the emergency room at University of Kentucky Hospital. According to the 9-year-old boy, he was riding his bike home from a friend’s house when animal attack took place. The minor’s mother, Pamela Garland, says she took her son to a local hospital, and from there he was airlifted to UK where he got 62 stitches in his face and mouth, which caused the child to have difficulty talking and eating. Pamela Garland says she wants the animal that attacked her child to be removed from the neighborhood by animal control officers.
