Survivors of Fatal Louisville Car Accidents Are Entitled to Death Benefits
A fatal crash took the lives of an Elizabethtown, Kentucky couple on Sunday August 18, 2013. The accident allegedly occurred around 6:30 p.m. at the intersection of Roundtop Road (KY 1135) and Lincoln Parkway (KY 61) in Elizabethtown.
According to reports of the accident, Johnie Dennis was traveling west on Roundtop Road and was attempting to cross Lincoln Parkway in his Nissan Sentra was he was hit by another vehicle. The other vehicle was a Chevrolet Blazer driven by 46-year-old Earl Richardson. Mr. Richardson’s vehicle hit Mr. Dennis’ vehicle on the passenger’s side.
75-year-old Johnie Dennis and his wife, 71-year-old Luevenia Dennis, were pronounced dead at the scene of this Kentucky car crash. Mr. Richardson was taken to Hardin Memorial Hospital for treatment and was later released.
Mr. Richardson has been charged with several crimes related to this August 18 fatal accident. Specifically, it has been reported that Mr. Richardson has been charged with:
- Operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol with aggravating circumstances
- Driving without a valid operator’s license
- Failure to maintain insurance
- Possession of an open alcoholic beverage in a motor vehicle
- 1st degree wanton endangerment
- Tampering with physical evidence
- Two counts of murder
Mr. Richardson was taken to Hardin County Detention Center after he was charged.
